Midlands co-operative has pledged to buy only HFC-free equipment from 2010 and has developed HFC-free chillers which should be adopted by other smaller retailers. Some good energy efficiency measures but they need to be rolled out across all stores rather than just a handful. (Last year’s score: did not participate)
